Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

 

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Scramblin’ To-Go Menu – New bulk carry-out menus will be delivered to your store within a few weeks. The only update to these menus is a minor price increase.  Please discard all old menus and remember to put copies of these menus in with all carry-out orders for our guests’ future reference.
  2. Side Brussels Sprouts – Be advised, we have already had several inquiries for a ‘side of Brussels Sprouts’ from our guests. We will be creating a button on your DinerWare POS system to charge for this.  When selling a side, sprouts should be sold in a fruit cup, not a rarebit boat.
  3. Banana-tella Pancakes – We have discovered a discrepancy on the Product Preparation Guide for the Fall LTO menu. The picture shows Banana-tella cakes shingled and sold on a platter; however, the guide reads ‘place pancakes on a round plate’.  These should be sold as shown in the picture, shingled on a platter.
  4. Carryout Containers – Due to the positive feedback on the new carry-out containers, we have added two additional containers for your purchase. The first is a container sized in between the large and the small, designed for use with items that are too small for the big container and too large for the small.  The second is a fruit cup.  You may begin to order and use these new containers.  A Standard Operating Procedure will be provided in the near future for guidance on use of these containers.

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. New store opening – A very special congratulations to Scramblers of Wisconsin as we are excited to announce the opening of the newest Scramblers Restaurant in Brookfield, Wisconsin! Scramblers in Brookfield opened on Monday, September 9th as the second Wisconsin location, marking a new milestone for Scramblers as the 30th restaurant in the Scramblers/ City Egg chain.  Congratulations to Jay Campbell and Dave Hazenfield on their new Scramblers opening!  If you find yourself in the Milwaukee area, please stop in and see our newest Scramblers, and our first with a second ‘mezzanine’ floor with seating upstairs overlooking the restaurant dining room below.  This is a beautiful restaurant in a premium location.  We are excited to watch it grow!
  2. Kids Menus – We have decided to update the Scramblers kid’s placemats. The new version is currently in production and will be in your restaurant most likely on your next order.  The format has been updated to a new theme, but the menu and pricing remains the same.
