NEW INFORMATION
- Marie Club – Be advised, we are sending out email blasts to our e-club advertising the Family Size Meals. Another blast will go out on Monday, July 27. Scramblers Fam Packs
- Operations – As we continue to battle the on-going fears of the coronavirus, we have had to endure a sales volume slip from our early July numbers. Please recognize two important factors in our operations. First, be conscious of volume trends when writing your schedules to ensure maximum productivity out of your staff while keeping costs under control. Second and more importantly, it is time to have a renewed focus on the quality of the Scramblers experience to our guests. With increased fear in the general public and a reduced number of people willing to go out to eat breakfast, we find ourselves competing with many restaurants for a smaller segment of the population. Therefore, we must be the absolute best! It is not enough to be adequate. We must be outstanding, excellent, and remarkable in every way. Conduct necessary server development training, regular staff reviews, and all Scramblers protocols for operations to ensure we are holding ourselves and our staff to a better standard.
- Bread – We have had decided to make another change to our bread provider. After ongoing struggles with Orlando, we have found a new baker. Alpha Baking Company will now provide our white, wheat, rye and sourdough as a frozen product distributed through Gordon Food Service. We are excited about the quality and price of this bread and look forward to seeing more consistency and attention to detail from their service. Look for new bread in a few weeks. Individual market exceptions may apply. Please contact Brandon or Tim for more information.
RECURRING TOPICS
- Temperature Checks – We have a new way of reporting our in-store employee temperature checks. We have updated the tip declaration chart of the payroll worksheet by adding a line for recording the temperatures of your employees. Please use the updated tracker that was emailed directly to restaurant managers.
- Scramblers Mask Policy – Attached is our new employee mask policy. Please read and post in your kitchen. Scramblers Mask Policy
- Continue sanitizing – Please don’t forget that we must continue to be vigilant during this time. Restaurants are operating under a figurative microscope. Don’t become complacent. Please continue all ongoing sanitation and risk mitigation factors that we have implemented since the reopening of our restaurants to include, but not limited to, face masks, temperature checks, sanitation stations, hand washing, hand sanitizing, and social distancing.
- Help Stop the Spread Protocol – Please read the attached document to ensure Scramblers compliance with how to handle a staff member who tests positive for the Coronavirus. Help Stop the Spread Protocol
