Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Gift Card Balancing – Upon implementing the new Sizzle version of our Scramblers Gift Cards, we have found that many stores are having trouble properly reconciling the gift cards when balancing books at the end of the day. Therefore, we have attached instructions for managers to better understand how this reconciliation works.  Please review.     Gift Card Balancing Procedures
  2. Reduce Your Wait – We have updated our Call Ahead Seating Policy. While this policy has been in existence for many years at Scramblers, we still find it implemented incorrectly system-wide.  Therefore, in an effort to simplify the policy and make sure staff is properly trained on how to administer this policy, we have updated it slightly to include a new name.  The new and improved ‘Reduce Your Wait’ policy is explained in detail in the attached document, and new store signage should be expected in your restaurant in the coming week.   Reduce Your Wait Policy
  3. The Scramblers Difference – In a commitment to our ongoing staff training, we have decided to take an excerpt from our Server/Cook operations manuals and display to all of our staff a little knowledge about what makes Scramblers food different! Posters the size of our New Uniform poster, reminding our staff about the many things that make Scramblers food superior, have been ordered and will be delivered to all restaurants in the coming weeks.  When you receive yours, please display it with pride somewhere in your kitchen for all staff to see.

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. Gift Card Promotion – Attached is a link that will be updated in real-time to show all gift card sales in all Scramblers locations throughout the season. Have a great gift card selling season!    Gift Card Sales
  2. Holiday Décor – If you have not already done so, it’s time to decorate for the holiday season! As in years past we encourage all stores to decorate for the Christmas and winter holiday season.  Please remember the original guidelines for holiday decorations as we wish to ensure that our decorations are in good taste and display an appropriate level of tact.  Staff should decorate now if they have not already done so.  Below is a reminder of a few of the guidelines:
    1. Please do not gift-wrap wall art
    2. No cling-ons, ‘snow’ sprays, or markers on windows
    3. Please no multi-colored lights or multi-colored garland
    4. Recommended for use: green garland, white lights, poinsettias, ‘gold snow flakes’, and tree ornaments or bulbs
    5. Don’t forget the holiday music!
