Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

 

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Limited Staffing Protocols – Due to the quick spread of Covid-19, many restaurants are seeing very limited staff available to work. As a reminder, our first priority is guests in the dining room.  Second is our online and delivery sales.  We have found that utilizing a ‘false wait’ in the front is far more advantageous than seating every table in the dining room and overburdening staff.  Guests are far more willing to wait in the front for a table than to wait for a server after they have been sat.  Reduce your available tables if necessary.  Close sections when short staffed in the FOH.  This is a slower time of year, but if you find yourself without enough staff on any given day, do not panic.  Control your traffic flow at the front and most importantly, communicate to your guests.
  2. Gift Card Promotion – Congratulations on another very successful gift card selling season.
  3. Holiday Décor – If you have not already done so, please remove all winter holiday décor and music from your restaurant, and store in a safe place until next year!

  1. Training Videos – New Scramblers Training Videos are complete and have been published on the University tab of the Coop in a manner that streamlines the process for your new staff. Please take full advantage of these videos.  At any available opportunity, your current staff should also watch these as a refresher of their position and our ongoing Scramblers standards and expectations.
