Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Easter – This year Easter Sunday is April 17. This day can be slower than a normal Sunday but doesn’t have to be.  If advertised well in your local area, guests who may avoid Easter brunch out of fear of crowds and waits, will come to breakfast if they are encouraged and their fears are tempered.  We will advertise to our social media following and if you have not already done so, please immediately put your ‘Open on Easter’ sign in your lobby.  Also, be advised that this means that ‘Good Friday’ is on Friday, April 15.  This is a busy day.  Expect sales to be up from a typical Friday between 20-50% and staff accordingly.
  2. Management Training – Don’t forget training next week! We will conduct our annual Scramblers system-wide manager training session at the Drury Inn & Suites in Findlay, Ohio next week on Tuesday, April 12, 9am-3:30pm. All Scramblers General Managers and Restaurant Supervisors are welcome and encouraged to attend.  If you have not yet contacted Peggy at our corporate offices to RSVP, please do so.
  3. Tri-mark – Be advised, we have two new Account Representatives from Tri-Mark who are ready to take care of all of your equipment needs. Brad (330) 328-9839 will handle all of your smallwares including orders for the new china package when your store is ready to make the switch.  Matt Hendrix (614) 439-7325 will handle all of your equipment needs including stoves, ranges, ovens, etc.  When you do order the new china pattern, please let Corporate know so that you will receive a color hard-copy of the new cookbook and your Sizzle system can be updated with the photos of the new plate presentations.
  4. Potato Prices – Be advised, neither GFS nor McCain will continue to subsidize the difference on price between the contracted price and any available substitution. Be prepared to pay full invoice costs on potatoes over the next several months.
