NEW INFORMATION
- Father’s Day – Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 18. Please be ready for a busy Sunday and remind your staff to pass out the Scramblers Free Gift to fathers on that day.
- Juneteenth – Be advised, this coming Monday, June 19 is Juneteenth, which is now an observed federal holiday. After looking at sales volume numbers from last year, we have noted that Scramblers sales numbers were significantly higher as a result of this holiday. Therefore, managers should be ready for a very busy Sunday and Monday of this coming weekend and should plan to order enough food and have enough staff to support these sales.
- Mother’s Day Coupon – The free gift coupon that we handed out to mothers on Mother’s Day expired on June 7th and is no longer valid. The button will be removed from Sizzle as these coupons should no longer be accepted.
RECURRING TOPICS
- Potato Change – Be advised, we have decided to make a change to a new cubed potato from McCain to Simplot. The new Simplot potato is a better quality and a better price. We have not yet made a commitment to change over hashbrowns or French fries, but cubed potatoes should be available in approximately two weeks. Be aware that the pack-size is different, so take note when doing inventory and posting invoice pricing.
- Summer Promotion – Be advised, as in year’s past, this year we will be running a late summer promotion. This will be a new promotion that we have not yet run, but will be fun for our guests and easy to implement on an operational level. Details to follow.
