NEW INFORMATION
- Gift Card Terminals – Important! Your external Vantiv Gift Card Terminal is going away! Starting tomorrow, Thursday, August 29, you will no longer need or use the external terminal to process any gift cards. We have successfully converted all outstanding cards to Sizzle Gift Cards and can now process all cards through your POS system. This officially eliminates the third-party vendor (Vantiv) from our gift card system along with all of their processing fees, poor customer service, terminal issues, card confusion, and on-going expenses. Please remove your terminals and inform your staff all gift cards should now be redeemed on the tablets!
- Labor Day – Be prepared this coming Monday, September 2 is Labor Day! As always, this will be a busy holiday. Look at sales volume trends from your restaurant last year to know how to staff appropriately.
- Summer Splash Cash – As you all know, today, Wednesday, August 28 is the final day of our Summer Splash Cash promotion. This means it is time to submit your completed cards so that we may conduct the drawing for the five individuals who will receive the Grand Prize! Please submit all completed Splash Cash cards in an envelope directly to our Toledo Corporate Offices at 2778 N. Centennial Rd. Suite B, Toledo, Ohio 43617. Once received, we will draw and announce the winners!
- Logo Cups – New cups are in! However, because paper cups with sleeves are designed only for hot drinks, and plastic cups for cold, we have developed a chart to explain how these should be utilized. - Egg Prices – Just a heads-up, as you all may know, egg prices are up. Because our purchasing costs tie directly to the national egg market, our prices fluctuate as the market does. Due to the recent rise, we asked our supplier for an explanation. This is their response: Shelled Egg Prices

- Fall Menu – As previously mentioned, we are currently finalizing the Fall LTO Menu, and are very excited about some new flavors this year! This menu has a ‘go-live’ date of Wednesday, September 11. Attached below you will find the Product Preparation Guide and videos to better illustrate preparation. A hard-copy version of this guide will be provided with the new menus.
- Spring/ Summer LTO Menu – Reminder, the current seasonal LTO should be pulled at close of business on Monday, September 2. Please remember to manage your inventory levels to avoid excess waist prior to the completion of this menu.
OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES
- Cookbooks – Be advised, with our new menu scheduled for roll-out in mid-October, all Scramblers locations system-wide will be receiving new hard-copy cookbooks. These are being finalized now and will be provided prior to the new menu release.
