Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Fall LTO Menu – As in years past, the fall limited time offering menu will conclude on Sunday, December 24.  Please pull fall menus at the close of business on Christmas Eve.  If you have an abundance of product or are low and don’t want to order full cases, consider coordinating with other locations to adjust your inventory levels to coincide with the menu ending date.
  2. Gift Cards – As it is gift card selling season, please ensure your staff is doing all they can to drive gift card sales.  While this promotion may not be profitable, it is in the best interest of serving staff and individual stores to sell them.  Sales during the slow months of January and February are combated by a high number of gift cards out in the market to be redeemed.  Gift Card sales are significantly down on the last several years, and poor January and February sales will be a direct reflection of fewer card sales in December.

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. Volume Trends – Be advised, the last few weeks of December can tricky when writing schedules.  Historical trends usually indicate a slower season until just a few days before Christmas when volume starts to pick up.  Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on a Monday this year.  Please look closely at previous years’ sales trends to know what to expect and how to staff.  Be careful not to overstaff during the slow days of December or understaff during the Christmas break.

 OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES
