Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Scrambler Bucks Warning – We are sad to report the dismissal of one of our good servers this week due to a foolish decision on her part.  It was discovered that she was collecting left-over Scrambler Bucks at the end of her shifts and keeping them.  When her roommate ordered a large carry-out order from a different location to be paid for with Scrambler Bucks, the culprit was found and terminated.  Please ensure that your staff is aware of the consequences of such poor decisions, and remember that following proper procedures will prevent this type of situation from occurring.
  2. Scrambler Bucks Coupon – The second e-club email blast advertising Scrambler Bucks to our subscribers will be sent out on Saturday afternoon.  This provides a coupon for bucks to be eligible for redemption on this upcoming Monday -Friday.

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. Scrambler Bucks – There has been a little confusion on the Scrambler Buck vs. the Scrambler Buck Coupon redemption.  We do not redeem Scrambler Bucks on Sunday’s as stated specifically on the buck.  However, the hard-copy coupon that is mailed to house-holds may not state this.  Guests may wish to redeem this on a Sunday.  If this occurs, your staff should recognize this as a coupon, not a Scrambler Buck, and should allow redemption even on Sundays.  When in doubt, make sure your guests leave happy.
  2. Tea – We have made a change to a new Iced Tea supplier.  GFS will no longer provide us Lipton Iced Tea; rather, Caruso Coffee is our new iced tea supplier.  We are excited about the superiority of the product having tested in multiple locations.  Please order your tea products through Caruso Coffee now as the Lipton product has been removed from the GFS order guide.  This change does not affect hot tea.  One item to make note of; the iced tea from Caruso Coffee is provided in individual packets much like Lipton, but not in individual sealed filters.  The tea should be poured into a coffee filter first and then brewed as normal.
