NEW INFORMATION
- Uniforms – In an effort to maintain both professionalism and consistency throughout the Scramblers system, a complete staff-wide update to uniforms must be complete no later than July 31, 2018. This includes all of the following:
- Servers must be in ‘Scramblers’ logo polo shirts. Old-version cotton polo shirts with ‘Scrambler Marie’s’ logos will no longer be authorized.
- All name tags must have updated ‘Scramblers’ logo. Old-version ‘Scrambler Marie’s’ logo name tags will no longer be authorized.
- General Managers, along with restaurant supervisors, must be in black ‘Scramblers’ logo polo shirts. As an additional option, GMs are the only individuals authorized to wear ‘Scramblers’ logo ‘Professional Attire’ available for purchase on ‘The Coop’ while working.
RECURRING TOPICS
- Father’s Day Coupon – Due to a computer e-mail glitch, it has been discovered that approximately 400 individuals who signed up to redeem their Free Entrée gift from their Father’s Day coupon were simultaneously sent both last year’s free entrée and this year’s free entrée. This means, it may be possible that some of our guests will try to redeem their Father’s Day free meal with an expiration date of 2017 on it. Due to the glitch, we will be accepting these coupons both in print-out and digital version. Please inform you staff to accept 2017 coupons as well as 2018 coupons.
- Fourth of July – This year, July 4 falls on a Wednesday. As a result, volume in restaurants will vary based on location, demographics, and typical sales volume trends. It is expected that rather than an obvious spike on any one specific day, many of our guests will take holiday on the Monday and Tuesday before the 4th, and some on the Thursday and Friday after the 4th. Expect a generally stronger than average week due to this fluctuation without one particular day lending itself to a sales volume spike. As you’re writing your schedules now for that week please be sure to staff appropriately.
