Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Gift Cards – Our Gift Card Sale Promotion has begun. We will be offering to all locations the opportunity to see your store’s sales as they compare to other restaurants and last year’s numbers as well.  Watch for that in the coming week.  Attached is our Promotional Alert for this year’s ‘Buy $50, Get $10 Free’ Gift Card selling promotion.    Gift Card Promotion Alert

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. Potatoes – After an extensive and exhaustive look into all cubed potato options to include a three-week trial of a new kind of Lamb Westin potato, we have come to a decision. McCain’s Potatoes has offered Scramblers an option to return to our original potato chunk at the originally contracted price in spite of their inability to provide us hash browns to our specifications.  Lamb Westin has also agreed to offer their hash browns also at the originally contracted price regardless of whether or not we purchase their potato cubes.  Therefore, we have worked with GFS to stock the Lamb Westin Hash Browns as well as the McCain’s Potato Chunks.  These potatoes will be on your order guide and available for purchase now.
  2. Holiday Hours – If you have not yet done so, please post your holiday hours sign in your lobby for guests to make plans to visit us in the upcoming season.
  3. Thanksgiving – Be advised when comparing sales from last year as you write your schedule that Thanksgiving Day was on Thursday, November 22 last year, but is the following week, Thursday, November 28 this year. Also, GFS will not be delivering on that day, so if you normally receive a Thursday truck, you will get your delivery on Friday instead, unless you contact Kyle directly and request a Wednesday truck.

OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES

  1. Recipe Book – The recipe book has been updated to include the designated use of carry-out containers per item. In addition to this change, attached is a cheat-sheet created for you to print and post in your kitchen for quick reference.  Carry-Out Container Cheat-Sheet
