NEW INFORMATION

  1. Fall LTO Menu – If you have not done so already, please pull your Fall LTO Menu.
  2. Gift Cards – Please continue to sell gift cards through the duration of the ‘Buy $50, Get $10’ promotion.  Promotion ends at close of business Monday, January 1, 2018.  At that time, please pull all table-tents, signs and buttons.  Also, please replace tip tray stickers with the new one that was provided to you last week.
  3. The Coop – Remember, when completing new employee paperwork on ‘The Coop’ managers must complete the management portioned that is emailed to them after the employee paperwork is complete.  Managers must them fill out the final portion of this paperwork and sign off before sending it to corporate.  Completing all steps of the process is critical to ensuring that all new employee paperwork is complete and accurate on file at the corporate offices.

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. Minimum Wage Increase – Please be advised, on January 1, 2018 minimum wage increases in the state of Ohio.  Wages go from $8.15/hour to $8.30/hour.  Sub-minimum (server wage) goes from $4.08/hour to $4.15/hour.  As in years past, this change occurs in the middle of a payroll week.  The best way to handle this issue is to run a payroll report at close of business on Sunday, December 31, adjust pay-rates in your computer, and then run a second report at close of business on Wednesday, Janu 3.  Then, submit two different pay-rates for any individual who worked the last three days of the pay period.
  2. Biscuits – We’ve made a change to our biscuit from GFS.  This is a minor change.  The biscuit itself does not change; however, they will now be ‘pre-sliced’.  The purpose for this is to ensure both a consistent product and that they are being warmed properly on the flat-top grill rather than the microwave.  Please adjust procedures with the new pre-sliced biscuit if you are currently warming in the microwave.  Look for the change in a week or two.
