Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Management Training Seminar – Scramblers Brands will host its second annual system-wide Scramblers Management Training Program this coming Tuesday, February 25 10:00am – 4:00pm at the Country Inn and Suites Radisson 903 Interstate Dr. Findlay, Ohio. This is an all-day training session designed for all Scramblers and City Egg General Managers and Restaurant Supervisors both Corporate and Franchise.
  2. Orlando Bread – Be advised, as we continue to work with Orlando to improve the overall product and service, they have begun to put preservatives in their fresh bread to prevent it from molding so quickly. They should still continue to date their loaves when they deliver, though they may have a longer shelf-life and as much as 7-day date-dot.  In the mean-time, we continue to explore frozen deliveries as a possibility in the near future.

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. Franchise Rack Card – In the mail this week you should have received the new and improved ‘Own a Scramblers’ Franchise rack card for your acrylic display in your lobby. Please throw all of the old cards away and replace with the new ones.  All stores received 50 cards to start.  If you did not receive them, please contact the corporate offices to track the delivery of them. Also, please order more from the Coop when they run low.  They will be shipped directly to you at no charge.
  2. Potato Shortage – Be advised, due to an industry-wide crop shortage and increase in demand, Lamb Westin is having trouble fulfilling all orders of hash browns. They have made our account a top priority; however, some stores may experience a GFS brand hash brown substitution periodically over the next couple of months as they try to increase production.  This is a temporary situation that may not affect all Scramblers restaurants and is expected to be resolved within a few months.  This shortage is not expected to affect our McCain’s potato chunks.
