NEW INFORMATION

1. Scramblers to go Menu – We have updated our Scramblers To Go Menu. Briefly we debated eliminating this menu with our new Family Packs as a substitution, but found that many offices are back in business and ordering in large quantities.  Therefore, this menu update is complete and to be delivered to all locations this week.  Prices have been updated.  Therefore, beginning Thursday, August 12, the new menu will be implemented in the Sizzle POS system.  If you are using Dinerware you should update your system with the new prices.  You can do this individually at the store level.  Please update and discard all old version menus.

RECURRING TOPICS

1. Bacon Flight – After running velocity reports, we have concluded that due to relatively stagnant sales and operational difficulties, we will be discontinuing the Bacon Flight. We encourage all locations to continue running this promotion until product is exhausted.  Do not throw good product away.  When you no longer have the product available, you should remove your signs and table-tents with a no later than date of Tuesday, September 7.
2. China – Be advised, we have recently received word that the new china pattern that we selected will not be made available until December at the earliest. Obviously, many stores are in need of new replacements and cannot wait until December to restock inventories.  Unfortunately, this entire industry is affected, so making further changes to the original china pattern will not fix this situation.  Therefore, we will stick with the original plan with the knowledge that restaurants will have to get creative over the next six months.  Most of our existing china is still available, with the exception of platters.  We have authorized a white platter as a substitution as well as white fruit cups and side plates.  The two best options available to get through the next several months will be to order the white platters or to substitute the use of the platter with round plates wherever applicable.  We will continue to provide as much information as possible as often as we receive updates on the status of the new china pattern.
