Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.
NEW INFORMATION
- Easter – This year Easter Sunday is April 17. This day can be slower than a normal Sunday but doesn’t have to be. If advertised well in your local area, guests who may avoid Easter brunch out of fear of crowds and waits, will come to breakfast if they are encouraged and their fears are tempered. We will advertise to our social media following and if you have not already done so, please immediately put your ‘Open on Easter’ sign in your lobby.
- Social Media Marketing – It’s March Madness Baby! Today was our final vote for the Scramblers Final Four campaign on our Instagram and Facebook pages for the favorite Scramblers entrée. And the winner is . . . French Toast! Therefore, guests who simply show the Instagram/ Facebook contest winner post to their server on their mobile device will receive 50% off an order of French Toast (both full and half sizes but not stuffed). You will see a new “March Madness 50% discount” button under the ‘Discount Items’. Please try to get your staff to use this button so we can track the effectiveness of this campaign. This discount is valid through Monday, April 4.
RECURRING TOPICS
- Spring/Summer LTO – Our Seasonal Limited Time Offering (LTO) menu is coming! This year’s menu has four entrees and one drink. Attached is the Product Preparation Guide. Please begin to review it. A hard copy of this guide has been sent to all stores, with the menus to arrive in stores by no later than the beginning of next week. You will be expected to place your first order for the necessary products from GFS on Wednesday, April 6 for a menu start date of Wednesday, April 13. One minor correction to this Product Prep Guide is the word ‘mayo’ in the grilled cheese sandwich has been switched to ‘butter’ (or margarine). Spring/ Summer LTO Product Prep Guide
- Sizzle – Wednesday, March 23 Updates to Sizzle as published in the ‘Group-Me’ app:
- You are now able to split individual items between multiple seats. This will be found right below the Discount Items button. It should be fairly straightforward how it works. But if you have questions feel free to reach out to Philip about them.
- From the Cook Screen, when you click on a check you will now see a ‘Cook Book’ button. If you click this, it will allow you to see each item on the check with the description as it appears on the menu, a picture of how the item should be sold, as well as all of the ingredients that go in it. The current pictures are still on the old china as that is what most stores have. As more stores switch to the new china, these pictures will update as well.
- On the Kitchen Statistics report you will now see an option to change from ticket times for the entire day, or ‘Crunch Time’ ticket times (9:000am – 1:00pm) to help see how your store is performing while at its busiest.
- We added in a ‘Notes’ section on each employee’s page. (Manage Store > Manage Users > Click on user’s name). This should be used to help to keep track of things related to the employee such as shifts they call off for/show up late to/ exceptionally good things they do. It should help you increase your official documentation around employees.
- Management Training – Save the date! We will conduct our annual Scramblers system-wide manager training session at the Drury Inn & Suites in Findlay, Ohio on Tuesday, April 12, 9am-3:30pm. All Scramblers General Managers and Restaurant Supervisors are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you have not yet contacted Peggy at our corporate offices to RSVP, please do so.
