Operations Update

NEW INFORMATION

  1. New china substitution – To any locations who have ordered or received the new china pattern: Trimark has indicated a lag in delivery of the large plate until as late as July. If you are in need of this plate, they have offered a substitution at a significant discount.  This will be a substitution only in order to get through Mother’s Day and to July.  For details, please contact Tim Trautman.
  2. LTO Promotion – Be advised, we are currently offering $2 off any LTO item under the ‘promotions’ tab of the Scramblers app. In addition, we are sending out a coupon for $2 off any LTO item in an email to our Marie-club subscribers.  This will be valid next Monday, April 25 – Friday, April 29 only.  Redemption requires only that guests show a copy of this email either digitally or in paper form.
  3. Spring/ Summer LTO – We wish to offer a little clarification on the Product Preparation Guide of the Spring/ Summer LTO.
    1. Please use bottled lemon juice, not lemons for the sweet butter.
    2. Please educate the servers to explain to guests that, while the menu describes the topping as a custard, it is more of a sweet lemon butter.
    3. Apples on the sandwich should be on only one side of the bread, not both or it is too much apple for the sandwich and becomes overwhelming.
    4. You should be running raspberry stuffed French toast because you need the stuffing to make the sandwich and too much stuffed French toast will be excessive and go bad.
    5. Cauliflower should be chopped up into smaller pieces

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. Door Dash – While we have reduced our Door Dash advertising, we do still have one promotion currently running. As a result, you may see a $3.00 off coupon on some Door Dash orders.  Please advise staff to apply this coupon to the orders when ringing them into Sizzle.  They will see a ‘$3 off Door Dash’ button under ‘Discount Check’.  Applying these discounts to Sizzle helps ensure the accuracy between what Sizzle shows as Door Dash sales and what is Door Dash deposits into the account.
  2. Tri-mark – Be advised, we have two new Account Representatives from Tri-Mark who are ready to take care of all of your equipment needs. Brad (330) 328-9839 will handle all of your smallwares including orders for the new china package when your store is ready to make the switch.  Matt Hendrix (614) 439-7325 will handle all of your equipment needs including stoves, ranges, ovens, etc.  When you do order the new china pattern, please let Corporate know so that you will receive a color hard-copy of the new cookbook and your Sizzle system can be updated with the photos of the new plate presentations.
