Operations Update

Our mission is to delight every guest of Scramblers by impressing them with unique breakfast and lunch recipes and attentive friendly service in a clean, dynamic yet comfortable environment.

NEW INFORMATION

  1. Father’s Day Coupons – Coupons have been delivered to all locations. Please make sure your staff is handing these out to all fathers on Sunday!  As previously mentioned we have updated our coupon to be a REAL one time use coupon. Guests will now be emailed a unique QR code when they sign up for the coupon. They will present this coupon to their server, and it will only be valid for a single use. For the server to redeem these coupons they will go into the check, click the item that is being discounted off and select “Discount Items”. There is a new button labeled “One Time Use” at the bottom of the item level discounts. When the server clicks this, it will open the camera on the tablet to scan the QR code. Once scanned, the discount will automatically be applied.   As these are now real one time use coupons, it is extremely important all servers are trained on how to properly redeem these coupons.  After the check is paid, the coupon will update on the guest’s phone to say “Redeemed” in red across the coupon. This will make the coupon invalid moving forward. If a guest prints off the QR code, it should still be scanned, Sizzle will recognize it.  Check to make sure it has not been used before and apply the coupon as appropriate. Any questions around this process should be sent directly to Philip.  Make sure your staff is aware and using this new feature.
  2. Holidays – Take a good look at your calendars. We have three federally recognized holidays starting this weekend.  Father’s Day, Jun 16 and Junteenth, June 19 fall in the same week, so be prepared with staffing and food ordering.  Then Independence Day is two weeks later, on Thursday, July 4th.  This will make for a strong week/ early weekend.  Now is the time to put your best foot forward.  Impress your guests with our new service policies, food quality, staff, and in some locations, newly renovated facilities!

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. Name Tags – We’ve eliminated name tags! This new policy was announced two weeks ago at the Quarterly Scramblers GM Conference Call and has taken effect in all restaurants.  This is just a reminder that your staff should no longer be wearing name tags!
  2. Music – As mentioned on our call, make sure your music is set to the officially authorized Scramblers playlist and at a volume that can be heard well and loud enough to keep the environment up-beat!
