NEW INFORMATION

1. Fall LTO PPG – Be advised, the Fall LTO Product Prep Guide indicates that you can purchase Badia Cajun Seasoning from Kroger. Unfortunately, not all Kroger stores carry this product.  If yours does not, we have found it at Meijer as well.  In addition, the roll-out of this menu may be limited to each location’s ability to receive all products from GFS this week.  Some locations may not receive all items until next Thursday, forcing a delayed start.  If your restaurant has everything necessary, your start date for the Fall LTO Menu remains Wednesday, September 11.  If not, please begin as soon as all items are available to you.  Hard copy menus have already been printed and mailed.  All stores should receive them no later than Monday, September 9.

RECURRING TOPICS

1. Gift Card Terminals – Important! Your external Vantiv Gift Card Terminal is going away! Starting Thursday, August 29, you will no longer need or use the external terminal to process any gift cards.  We have successfully converted all outstanding cards to Sizzle Gift Cards and can now process all cards through your POS system.  This officially eliminates the third-party vendor (Vantiv) from our gift card system along with all of their processing fees, poor customer service, terminal issues, card confusion, and on-going expenses.  Please remove your terminals and inform your staff all gift cards should now be redeemed on the tablets!  Terminals can be discarded as we have confirmed that they have no value.
2. Logo Cups – New cups are in! However, because paper cups with sleeves are designed only for hot drinks, and plastic cups for cold, we have developed a chart to explain how these should be utilized.  (Also, our plastic cups don’t have a logo yet, but will very soon).  Take a look and follow accordingly.
3. Summer Splash Cash – As you all know, Wednesday, August 28 was the final day of our Summer Splash Cash promotion. This means it is time to submit your completed cards so that we may conduct the drawing for the five individuals who will receive the Grand Prize!  If you have not already done so, you must submit all completed Splash Cash cards in an envelope directly to our Toledo Corporate Offices at 2778 N. Centennial Rd. Suite B, Toledo, Ohio 43617.  We will draw winners on Wednesday, September 11!  Don’t miss out!

OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES

1. Cookbooks – Be advised, with our new menu scheduled for roll-out in mid-October, all Scramblers locations system-wide will be receiving new cookbooks. These are being finalized now and will be provided prior to the new menu release.
