NEW INFORMATION

1. Tax Free Weeks – Be advised, August 1-14 is ‘Tax-Free Weekend’ for the state of Ohio.  Obviously, this is more than just a weekend this year, and it applies to purchases under $500 including food.  Therefore, our restaurants will be removing tax for all our patrons for all purchases over the next two weeks with the exception of alcohol.  The Sizzle system has already done this for you.  No need to make any changes on the part of the operator.  Please contact Philip with any questions.

RECURRING TOPICS

1. New Menu – We are currently finalizing the new Scramblers menu. This menu is expected to roll out to all locations in mid-October, and will feature new items in our “Seasonal Sensations” category.  However, because these are not ‘seasonal’ items, we will change the name of the category to “Newest Creations”.  In addition, we will roll-out table-tents and posters at the end of August advertising two of our most popular fall flavors, Pumpkin Stuffed French Toast, and a new fall flavored beverage.  Watch for more information in the coming weeks.

OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES

1. We are currently working on updating Employee Manuals by position. These updates are not necessarily policy or protocol changes; rather, they are just designed to make sure all aspects are relevant and applicable in today’s updated Scramblers systems.  When they are complete, they will be published in the Library in The Coop.
