NEW INFORMATION
- Summer Savings – Be advised, this summer’s semi-annual Scramblers Promotion, called ‘Summer Savings’ begins in just a couple of weeks! Rather than 5 Square we have created a new summer promotion to run from early August through late September. The link below will provide you all of the promotional details. Train your staff and be ready! Scrambler Summer Savings
- Roseville Opening – Congratulations to Alex Lynch, Felicia Bell, and their staff on the re-opening of the Scramblers Roseville location this past week! This restaurant relocated to a new spot in Roseville and opened its doors for business with the participation of the local Chamber of Commerce in a Grand Opening ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 24.
- Baking Powder – Be advised, due to a packaging issue with our company spec Red Star Baking Powder, GFS substituted a different product that we’ve determined is not up to our specifications. Because this is only a packaging issue, GFS has agreed to provide us our original Red Star Baking Powder in a 50 lb. bag as a one-time purchase only. This bag will be force-shipped to all Scramblers and City Egg restaurants system-wide. Expect this shipment via FedEx or UPS in the next day or two. This should buy Red Star enough time to fix their packaging issues so that we can expect to receive it when all stores have exhausted their 50 lb. bag.
RECURRING TOPICS
- New Menu – Be advised, the new 2018 Scramblers menu will arrive in stores next week. As always, all operations manuals will be updated in the Scramblers Library to reflect the new menu. The attached memorandum highlights all the menu changes displayed as excerpts from each of the manuals including the Cookbook, Recipe Book, and Prep Book. In addition, all preparation videos are available in Scramblers University. Please educate your staff of these changes over the next week. Take advantage of the time to train staff now. 2018 Menu Changes
