NEW INFORMATION

1. Fall LTO – Be advised, the Fall LTO is expected to finish on Monday, December 24. Please plan on pulling menus at close of business on Christmas Eve.  If however, you have an abundance of product that you do not want to waste, you are authorized to maintain this menu through December 31.  Please do not order more product.  Stores will not be authorized to continue to run this menu past Monday, December 31.

RECURRING TOPICS

1. Door Dash – Corporate Restaurants have all begun a new delivery service called Door Dash. Guests place their order through Door Dash directly.  The order arrives in the restaurant via Door Dash provided tablet, is run through the Dinerware POS via server, and sent to the kitchen.  Door Dash drivers arrive to pick up and deliver the food.  If you have any issues with your program or interest in getting involved in delivery sales, please contact Dave Hummel at (616) 516-1614.
2. Christmas Sales – Be advised, Christmas falls on a Tuesday this year. Please make note of this when staffing as we enter this holiday season. Many of your days’ sales will be directly affected by winter break schedules and holidays through New Year’s Day.
3. Minimum Wage Increase – Please be advised, on January 1, 2019 minimum wage goes up again in Ohio to $8.55 with server (sub-min) to $4.30. Please adjust all employee wages who are directly affected by this increase.  Because this change occurs in the middle of a payroll, in order to split the payroll properly, don’t forget to run a labor report at close of business on December 31.
4. LTO Discount – Be advised, we have sent a promotional campaign to our e-club with an offer for guests to try an item from our Fall LTO and received a free beverage. Please be prepared to honor this coupon until it expires on this Monday Dec 24, 2018.

OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES

1. Prep Book – Due to a change in the Knorr Hollandaise Sauce blend, we have changed our hollandaise recipe in the Prep Book. Please download and update your Prep Book reflecting the new hollandaise recipe.  It can be found in The Coop Library under the Operations Manual folder titled, Food Preparation.
