NEW INFORMATION
- Google Reservations – Be advised, Google has developed a new feature in which they identify a business as a restaurant and then create a button that allows guests to reserve a table or put their name on a wait list. However, Google does not work with Scramblers on this and does no verification on this feature. We do not currently have any contract with Google associated with this feature. This causes a great deal of guest confusion. We have requested multiple times for Google to eliminate this feature. In some cases, they have, but it continues to pop up once in a while. Just be aware of this issue so that if guests tell your hostess that they already have a reservation through google, they can explain that this is a Google problem. We should apologize on their behalf and make every effort to take care of guests, but our staff should know that our policy regarding reservations has not changed.
- Cooking Oil – Be advised, our current Wessin Butter-flavored Pan and Grill Cooking Oil has been discontinued. Wessin is no longer making this product. While we have had an alternative for this oil for some time, we have discovered a better alternate just recently. The new product is called Crisco Professional and is already on our order guide (look under 2-day lead items). The GFS brand will still be available under Alternate Items, but the proper substitution for the original Wessin Oil is the Crisco Professional.

- New Promotion – Be advised, corporate is working on a six-week promotion designed to discount our product while encouraging guests to visit us during our slowest season. Similar to the ‘Summer Savings Card’, this promotion will offer a 3 dollar-off ‘Winter Savings Pass’ in hard-copy, card-stock form that can be used and reused multiple times over the course of approximately six weeks starting on January 30. OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES
- 2023 Updates – Be advised, several documents in our Scramblers Operations Manual have been updated! As we are an ever-changing, ever-improving company, we work hard to keep our Operations Manuals up-to-date in both relevancy and accuracy. With the implementation of the Sizzle POS System, many of our daily Standard Operating Procedures have changed and our manuals have now been updated to reflect those new procedures. As always, these manuals can be found in The Coop Library.
