NEW INFORMATION

1. Labor Day – Be prepared as you’re writing schedules to recognize that Monday, September 2 is Labor Day this year. As always, this will be a busy holiday.  Look at sales volume trends from your restaurant last year to know how to staff appropriately.
2. Summer Splash Cash – This is the final weekend of our Summer Splash Cash promotion. Please continue to hand out cards to our guests and encourage them to come back in before they expire in the middle of next week!
3. Fall Menu – As previously mentioned, we are currently finalizing the Fall LTO Menu, and are very excited about some new flavors this year! This menu has a ‘go-live’ date of Wednesday, September 11.  Attached is the Product Preparation Guide.  Please review and begin instructing your staff on these new items.  A hard-copy version of this guide will be provided with the new menus.  Videos will be provided to better illustrate preparation as well.   Fall LTO Menu Product Prep Guide
4. Spring/ Summer LTO Menu – Reminder, the current seasonal LTO should be pulled at close of business on Monday, September 2. Please remember to manage your inventory levels to avoid excess waist prior to the completion of this menu.

5. Cinnamon Sticks – Be advised, your restaurant will be receiving the cinnamon sticks necessary for the new fall LTO menu as a direct shipment. Unfortunately, a mistake was made.  These were ordered for all locations but are only necessary for stores that serve alcohol.  If your restaurant does not serve liquor, please contact your rep to have these cinnamon sticks returned for a credit.
6. Gourmet Coffee – Reminder, GFS is no longer stocking our gourmet flavored coffee due to its lack of movement. We have removed it from the menu, but recognized that some restaurants still wish to have it available to guests.  This is not mandatory, but if you wish to purchase gourmet coffee, you must do so directly through Caruso’s.

OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES

1. Cookbooks – Be advised, with our new menu scheduled for roll-out in mid-October, all Scramblers locations system-wide will be receiving new hard-copy cookbooks. These are being finalized now and will be provided prior to the new menu release.
