  2. Operations Call – Be advised, we will be conducting our next Quarterly Operations Conference call next week on Wednesday, September 9 at 3:00pm. This is our system-wide, all General Manager call.  As usual, Corporate GM attendance via video is required, and all GM attendance is highly encouraged.  Supervisors and black shirt Shift Leaders are also welcome to attend.  This will be a 30-minute call.  An invitation and agenda will be sent via email.
  3. Fall Flavors – Be advised, our fall flavor Product Preparation Guide is attached. As you will see, this fall, we will have two new offerings beginning Wednesday, September 16.  Pumpkin Stuffed French Toast back by popular demand of course, and a new Peanut Butter Whiskey Hot Chocolate beverage!  We intend to advertise these new fall flavors through table-tents, large window signs, and social media of course.    Fall Flavors Product Prep Guide

RECURRING TOPICS

  1. New Menu – In keeping with our six-month menu plan, we are excited to announce that we are in the final stages of development of our new menu! This menu roll-out is currently scheduled for Wednesday, October 14 and will include five new offerings in our “Newest Creations” category.  As always, we will provide a Product Preparation Guide with full color pictures, plate presentation, recipes, descriptions, prices and preparation instructions. We will also provide instructional videos to help with training and preparation.
  2. Inventory – Reminder, we have made subtle changes to this menu including eliminating our poor performers. Therefore, for the purposes of reducing inventory levels or avoiding purchasing products that won’t make the new menu, the following skews will not be necessary on the new menu:  Strawberry Supreme Cake Mix, Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing, Tri-color Shredded Cabage Mix, Wonton Strips, Green Taco Sauce, and Chia Seeds.
  3. Social Media – Our September social media calendar is here! Click the link below to see details of our upcoming social media engagement looks like, and as always, if you are interested in your restaurant being featured in our on-going on-line marketing campaign, please reach out directly to Kelly!

OPERATIONS MANUAL CHANGES

Server Training – In an effort to continuously improve our operations, we have created a highly detailed server training schedule that all stores should use.  Attached is our newest version.  We recommend that each restaurant print and laminate a copy of this guide for use in your store during all server training.  If you would like to add additional items to your copy, please contact the IT support line at (614)-858-1488.  This has also been published in the server manual under the Library tab in the Coop.   Server Training Schedule
