- New Record – Congratulations to our Strongsville, Ohio Scramblers on achieving a new sales record! For the first time in our 30-year history a single store has grossed more than $30,000 in a single week of sales. Strongsville achieved a new single-store weekly sales record of $31,081! In addition to this new all-time single week sales record, Scramblers saw a record 13 restaurants grossing at or above $20k in one week of sales, with several stores achieving individual store sales records. We are very proud of the work your staff is doing to accomplish these records and excited about the continued growth of the Scramblers Restaurants.
- Door Dash – For all Scramblers and City Egg restaurants currently enrolled in the Door Dash delivery service please consider: Part of the Door Dash protocol is the requirement for a ‘Special Instructions’ option available to the guest placing the order. Unfortunately, this option allows for far too many variables in menu adjustments, substitutions, unregulated upgrades, and confusion. Unfortunately, this ‘Special Instructions’ selection cannot be eliminated because its original design is to inform the restaurant and food service providers of any significant allergy or dietary restrictions that would have to be considered when preparing the food. It is not designed to allow menu selection adjustments. Therefore, it is imperative that cooks and servers ignore any and all special instructions having to do with menu substitutions. ‘Special Instructions’ is only to be taken into consideration when related to food allergies or critical preparation information. Otherwise, please ignore all special instructions on the Door Dash tablet. When in doubt, contact Door Dash to contact the consumer directly.

- Scrambler Bucks – Its Scrambler Bucks Time! This year’s promotion will begin on Wednesday, Jan 16. Attached is the Promotion Alert. All stores should have received their promotional material including signs and Scrambler Bucks. Please contact our corporate offices if you have not received them yet. - Local Store Marketing – At the beginning of every calendar year all stores are provided a Local Store Marketing (LSM) packet. This packet contains Free Meal Coupons, Free French Toast cards, and Free Coffee cards. This year, in addition to these cards, we have created a new system that will guide store operators (all General Managers) to implement local store marketing programs that are most effective for their individual stores. Over the course of many years of the existence of Scramblers, we have developed a tremendous amount of experience in local marketing. Some things work; others don’t. Attached is the first of a working document that will provide an extensive amount of information to operators about how to better market their store within their community. This document has been posted in the ‘Marketing’ tab of the Coop. GMs are required to play a large role in the development of their store marketing program. - Scramblers App Promo – A new promotion has been created for the Scramblers App. In celebration of 30 years, we are offering $3 off your bill with the purchase of $20 or more. This promo is available to all guests that show their mobile phone with this app. It is scheduled to expire on January 15 when the Scrambler Bucks promo will take its place.
